Who I am: I have been a counselor for 25 years and have worked in a variety of settings including community agencies, schools and private practices with all ages from young children to adolescents to adults.  When I am not working you will find me spending time with my husband and three kids (ages 15, 18 and 20), exercising, reading or watching or recording a podcast.

My Mission: My goal is to empower individuals with practical tools to feel their best—inside and out.  I believe we were all born with an innate ability to heal and thrive.  My intention is to help people tap into their own inner intelligence and power so they may live their best lives as their true selves.

My background and approach: As a licensed clinical social worker and counselor, I bring a truly holistic approach to your well-being journey. I understand that mental health is deeply connected to your everyday lifestyle, which is why I focus on the transformative power of nutrition, exercise, supplements, and healthy habits to support your emotional and cognitive function. Beyond traditional counseling, I offer specialized neurofeedback and brainwave optimization techniques that help regulate your nervous system and enhance mental clarity. My everyday wellness programs provide personalized nutrition plans and supportive coaching designed for sustainable lifestyle changes that fit your unique needs.

For women seeking balance, I provide comprehensive hormone education and optimization strategies, including effective ways to lower cortisol levels for better stress management and overall well-being.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT MY FIRST SESSION?

Your first session will be more of an information gathering session. The session will start first by addressing the “business” aspects of the counseling process. We will go over confidentiality. I will ask questions regarding symptoms, developmental history and family history. We will set goals based on the information collected. If you are a parent bringing your child in for counseling, the first session may only be with the parent collecting information. If you are a parent bringing in an adolescent/teen, I will spend the first portion of the session with the parent collecting information, and then the second portion of the session building rapport with your adolescent/teen.
