Basics of Indoor Air Quality:
The bottom line is simple - Indoor air quality matters to your health. Most people are familiar with mold, water damage, and active mold growth, but they are NOT FAMILIAR WITH the dangers associated with the “other” suspects - mycotoxins from mold (associated with cancers, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, and more), bacterial and fungal fragments (endotoxins), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other airborne particles like insect fragments and dust.
Most of these airborne pollutants are invisible to the naked eye, but you and your family breathe them every day, we all do. Your body can tolerate some level of pollutants….but when you exceed the body’s tolerance, an inflammatory response ensues.
Killing mold or other microorganisms is only part of the battle. You have to kill any growth, but then, and perhaps most importantly, remove any spores or dead growth, and THEN you have to clean the AIR and SURFACES of these particles.
What is this equipment and what does it do??
Foggers spray a “mist” or “fog” of disinfectant that kills things in the environment - - mold/fungus, viruses, bacteria. You want to kill any active growth! After you kill microorganisms, you DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE THEM DEAD. You want to clean them up.
Ozone Generator kills things like bacterial growth, it’s commonly used to disinfect. Ozone also neutralizes odors and is often used after disasters like house fires.
Air Scrubbers scrub the air at a high rate and purify the air. This removes fungal toxins, bacterial fragments, dust, and other airborne particles that can be inflammatory.
EC3 Spray can be used on surfaces, couches, clothes, carpets, really anything, and every surface should be sprayed after fogging or remediating mold.
EC3 Mold Candles neutralize mycotoxins in the future AFTER remediation. EC3 candles have reduced airborne mold counts to zero on verified lab results, and high mold counts reduced by over 90%. All of the products we use are natural and chemical free. EC3 is made from plant-based compounds and essential oils.
The 3-Step Process
Step 1: FOG - - kill anything that could possibly be "alive" or "growing", such as mold spores, viruses, bacteria. Neutralize mycotoxins and particles in the air. Fog your basement/crawlspace, fog your stuff (clothes, closets, couches, mattresses), fog your HVAC ducts, fog your attic.
Step 2: FILTER - - run the Air Scrubber for several hours to days after "killing" to remove any particles that are left behind from killing (such as fungal fragments), or that were there before such as dust, insects, and more.
Step 3: OZONE - - After you have cleaned the air from any mold or particles, THEN you can neutralize any odors, neutralize any Volatile Organic Compounds
-5 Day Rental for $150. Equipment is to be picked up on Thursdays and returned to Washington Wellness Center on the following Tuesday. $25 Per Day Late Fee.
-Late Return Fee: Renter acknowledges that they will be subject to a fee of $25 per day if equipment is not returned on time.
-Condition: Renter acknowledges that the equipment is in good working order. If equipment is returned unclean, or damaged, renter may be charged an additional fee.
-Operation: Renter agrees to ONLY use EC3 Mold Concentrate solution in the fogger. Renter also agrees to not let anyone outside of the household use the equipment or transfer to another individual before returning the equipment to Washington Wellness Center.
