Meet Dr. Taylor
Dr. Taylor Krick BSc, DC
Dr. Taylor was raised in Washington and graduated from Washington Community High School in 2003. He then graduated from Colorado State University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine. Dr. Taylor then went on to receive his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he graduated in 2012.
After graduating Dr. Taylor and his wife Jamie moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to open their first wellness clinic, Align Utah. During the almost 6 years Dr. Taylor owned Align Utah he cared for professional skiers, National Champion weight-lifters, and helped thousands of people take control of their health - including patients losing 100’s of pounds, getting off dozens of medications, reversing chronic diseases like diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, heart failure, thyroid disease, and more. In Dr. Taylor’s final year of owning the clinic Align Utah was voted the Best of Utah in Alternative Medicine.
Dr. Taylor and his wife Jamie moved back to Central Illinois because they wanted to provide better resources for alternative healthcare in Central Illinois, and they really missed their family and their home area. They are thrilled to be back!
Dr. Taylor practices Functional Medicine, which takes a root cause approach to any health concern. Medications can support symptoms - high blood pressure, high blood sugar, low thyroid hormone, indigestion/heartburn/reflux - but they never address the root cause. By taking a patient-based, root cause approach to a particular health problem, Dr. Taylor is able to help people take control of their health by giving them the proper diet, exercise, and lifestyle approaches combined with the highest quality nutritional supplements to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself. His favorite symptom to help is fatigue, he loves seeing people have increased energy.
